Abstract

The cement industry is among the major greenhouse gas-producing industries. This huge amount of emission is due to two reasons. The first reason is the cement production process and the second is the high level of energy consumption in this industry changing this industry to one of the most energy consuming ones. Greenhouse gases are produced in two separate sections in this industry; the first one includes the cement production process and the second entails power consumption. Therefore, corrective measures can be highly effective to reduce the amount of CO2 production in the cement manufacturing process. Regarding this issue, some corrective approaches are provided
