Abstract: The aim of this study is effect of Training based on e-learning courseware of sixth grade science according to metacognitive strategies on confidence and avoidance skill of problem solving in students. The objectives of the study because of courseware production and because of the type of research to determine its effectiveness, but in terms of practices and methods in applied research in the form of semiexperimental pre-test and post-test and the control and experimental groups was performed. The population of this research consisted of all girls students in sixth grade of elementary school inside the sector one of Education in Kermanshah in academic year 2014-2015. Statistical sample is 50 people in two groups of 25 people who were selected by random cluster sampling method. Measurement tool was based on the goals of problem-solving questionnaire Heppner (1988). Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient is equal to (0.845). Analysis of the data in the form of descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, minimum score, the highest score and subtracting means) and inferential statistics analysis of covariance. Results showed that the effects of the significant method-based on training courseware production on index of confidence (F=4.85, Sig=0.033), acceptance Index or avoiding for the problem solving (F=4.21, Sig=0.046) in comparison with the conventional method has been approved.
