The Role of the World Organization “WIPO” in Promoting Intellectual Property Rights

Abstract

This study sheds light on intellectual property as a human right for creative development, allowing innovators and workers in various jobs and businesses to unleash their creative works, ensure their innovations and encourage them to communicate in a stimulating manner. The study discusses the concept of intellectual property, its types and importance. It also provides definitions of conventions and organizations concerned in this regard the most important of which is WIPO and its role in supporting and protecting human rights by protecting innovations and businesses worldwide as works of a universal character relevant for all humanity.
