The Effect of Proactive Leadership in the Quality of Insurance Decisions: A Field Study on a Sample of Managers of Iraqi Insurance Companies

The objective of the current paper is to recognize how proactive leadership, as an independent variable represented by the dimensions “proactive personality and proactive behavior”, affects the quality of insurance decisions, as a dependent variable represented by relevant reliable information, executable creative alternatives, rational logic, and commitment to implementation. The significance of the study was derived from the rarity of studies that addressed the topic of the study, which dealt with proactive leadership and its contribution to the quality of insurance decisions. The researcher chose a sample of (73) managers from the National Insurance Company randomly. The most notable hypotheses of the research are (proactive leadership has an effect upon the quality of insurance decisions). The preliminary data was taken from the National Insurance Company. The questionnaire was adopted as a main tool in gathering the research data, which was subjected to statistical analysis through the ready-made programs (SPSS V26) and (AMOS V26). The research has come up with many results, the key one is that there is an effect of proactive leadership upon the quality of insurance decisions in the National Insurance Company).
