Plagiarism Policy

The International Academic Journal of Humanities is committed to ensuring the integrity and originality of all published work. To uphold ethical standards, the journal enforces the following plagiarism policy:

• Originality Required: All submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the author(s) and must not contain any form of plagiarism, including direct copying, paraphrasing without citation, or self-plagiarism.

• Proper Citation: Authors must appropriately cite all sources, including previously published work, whether by the same or other authors.

• Plagiarism Detection: All submissions are screened using reliable plagiarism detection software before the peer review process begins.

• Zero Tolerance: Any manuscript found to contain plagiarized content—before or after publication—will be subject to immediate action, including rejection or retraction of the article.

• Consequences for Violations: In confirmed cases of plagiarism, actions may include:

  • Rejection of the manuscript

  • Retraction of a published article

  • Notification of the authors' affiliated institutions

  • Ban from future submissions to the journal

• Author Responsibility: Authors are responsible for understanding and adhering to ethical writing and citation practices. They must ensure their work is free from any form of academic misconduct.

• Self-Plagiarism: Reuse of significant portions of one’s previously published work without proper citation is also considered unethical and will be treated as plagiarism.

By submitting a manuscript, authors acknowledge and agree to abide by the journal’s strict anti-plagiarism policy. The journal reserves the right to take any necessary steps to preserve the integrity of the academic record.
