Authors are required to transparently disclose any use of AI tools in the preparation of their manuscript. This includes, but is not limited to, AI-assisted writing, data processing, statistical analysis, image generation, or other automated contributions. Such disclosures should specify the nature and extent of AI involvement and be included in the acknowledgments, methods, or a dedicated section as appropriate. - Authorship and Intellectual Responsibility
AI tools cannot be listed as authors as they lack accountability and cannot take responsibility for the content. Human authors must ensure that all intellectual contributions, including the design, analysis, interpretation, and writing, originate from them and that they assume full responsibility for the manuscript’s content. - Ethical Use of AI
Use of AI tools must comply with all applicable ethical standards and legal regulations, particularly concerning data privacy and protection of sensitive information. AI must not be used to fabricate, manipulate, or plagiarize data or text. - Verification of AI-Generated Content
Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, validity, and originality of all manuscript content, including any generated or assisted by AI tools. They must critically evaluate AI outputs and verify all data and conclusions before submission. - Citation and Attribution
Any AI tools, software, models, or datasets employed must be properly cited or acknowledged in the manuscript. This ensures transparency and allows reviewers and readers to assess the methods and reproducibility of the research. - Peer Review and Editorial Oversight
Manuscripts involving AI-generated or AI-assisted content will undergo rigorous peer review. The editorial team reserves the right to request additional details about the AI tools used to assess compliance with ethical standards and scientific rigor. - Compliance and Consequences
Failure to disclose AI tool usage or unethical use of AI may result in manuscript rejection, retraction after publication, and may affect the authors’ eligibility for future submissions to the journal. - Encouragement of Best Practices
