Publication Ethics

International Academic Journal of Innovative Research (IAJIR) is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and ensuring that all participants in the scholarly publishing process—authors, editors, peer reviewers, and publishers—adhere to responsible and ethical practices. The journal follows the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all contributors to observe principles of honesty, integrity, and academic rigor. The journal does not tolerate unethical behavior such as plagiarism, data falsification, duplicate submission, or misrepresentation of authorship.

Authors submitting to IAJIR must ensure that their manuscripts are original, properly cited, and free from any form of academic misconduct. All data used in research must be accurately represented and must not be fabricated or manipulated. If the work involves human participants, animals, or sensitive data, proper ethical approval must be obtained and clearly mentioned in the manuscript. Authorship must be limited to those who have made substantial contributions to the research. All co-authors should agree on the final version of the paper and take joint responsibility for its content. Any financial or personal conflicts of interest must be disclosed at the time of submission.

Editors and reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining ethical standards by ensuring a fair, unbiased, and confidential review process. Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based solely on the quality and academic merit of the submission. Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively and report any ethical concerns or potential conflicts of interest to the editorial board. The identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the peer review process. In cases of suspected misconduct, such as plagiarism, duplicate publication, or data manipulation, IAJIR will investigate thoroughly and take appropriate action, which may include rejection of the manuscript, retraction of a published article, or notifying relevant academic or professional bodies.
