In disruptive and chaotic market conditions, organizations experience problems in the areas of operational continuity, competitive advantage, and sustainability. Management approaches that can retain their relevance in the future must adapt to the rapid pace of technological and economic changes, as well as supply chain disruption and changes in customer needs. This work deals with the changes in resilience of the organization, as well as the roles of agility and adaptive strategic practices, within the changing boundaries of business ecosystems. The study was constructed using a quantitative approach based on the distribution of a questionnaire to 312 senior and operational middle-level managers in manufacturing, retail, technology, and service business organizations. The relationship between the dimensions of agility and adaptive strategies and the dimensions of resilience was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Differentiated (Variance) and Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) analyses. The assessment of the data reliability showed good internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha of 0.91), while the measurement model showed good validity (AVE > 0.5). High positive impacts of organizational agility on enterprise resilience (β = 0.68; p < 0.001) were identified, while adaptive strategic capability demonstrated a significant positive effect on operational stability and organizational resilience (β = 0.72; p < 0.001). In addition, digital innovation capability showed a significant positive influence on enterprise resilience (β = 0.63; p < 0.001). The predictive power was strong, showing R² = 0.74 across the proposed framework. The findings suggest that there is strong support for management theory and practice by showing that the combination of resilient structures and adaptive strategic thinking of organizations in uncertain market conditions provides competitive and sustainable growth.
