Abstract

In order to identify and evaluate local varieties of grapes, in the region of Khodabande (Kedar), a study was based on by the International Organization for Botanical Plant Genetic Resources (IBPGR) descriptor on marked native grape plants in grape vines. 100 morphological characters of different organs (shoot, buds, leaves, tendrils, inflorescences, flowers and fruits), the figures were evaluated in three replications, in different phenological stages (sleep, bud break, the growth of shoots and leaves, opening flower formation and fruit development, ripening and harvesting). Finally, 21 local grape varieties were identified and evaluated. The results showed a large morphological difference between varieties and all studied varieties, due to the general specifications, belong to vinifera species. Due to the special qualities of some of these varieties, we can use them in the development of commercial vineyards, Grape breeding and production of new varieties with new potential
