Intellectual Capital and Business Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of intellectual capital on business performance in healthcare organizations of Uttarakhand. A research instrument measuring intellectual capital and business performance was utilized to conduct a survey of 200 top and middle level managers and doctors of selected health-care organizations inHaridwar and Dehradun districts of Uttarakhand. For the purpose of data analysis and interpretation SEM was applied. The study concludes that intellectual capital has a statistically significant and positive relationship with business performance. The research reported among only a few to investigate the issue of intellectual capital (IC) and business performance (BP) in healthcare organizations of Uttarakhand. The findings offer valuable insights on the generalizability of intellectual capital in an innovative research setting.
