Abstract

The general patterns and actuation mechanics of these soft robotic hands are highlighted in this comprehensive review.
We evaluated the devices based on their range of motion and force, utilizing a motion capture system and force sensors.
The results showed that they offer a decent range of motion and enough force to handle various tasks. Looking ahead,
we plan to enhance the force output to enable fingers to actuate with greater stiffness and material stability, all while
keeping aesthetics in mind. Additionally, SEMG signals are emerging as a powerful tool for interpreting the user's
intention for limb movement. This work aims to develop a myoelectric control system for an exoskeleton knee that
can predict joint angles during everyday activities like standing up, sitting down, and walking on flat surfaces, as well
as going up and down stairs.
