Abstract

Biomedical imaging has become a crucial element in today’s healthcare and diagnostic systems. These images provide
valuable insights into various internal aspects of the body, and their non-invasive nature makes them highly preferred.
For effective treatment planning, it’s vital to analyze biomedical images accurately and swiftly. The digital image
processing can play an important role in medical side to identify the disease and tumors. A digital image can be
collected of fixed number of elements known as image element or pixels, every one of which contains an intensity
value and exacting position. The medical image processing is the most important useful methods to examine the
people’s health position. The mass is discovered by using the image processing methods with some enhancements,
whether it is present in the inner organs or not. Methods that can execute this process can be known as Computer
Aided Detection methods. CAD methods can be used as a tool to augment the effectiveness of medical imaging
procedure. The principle of the CAD methods will be to enhance diagnostic accurateness, to identify the abnormal
structures that are tumor in brain or breast or any part of body, and assist radiologists by applying the computer
methods.
