The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Enhancing Human-Web Interaction

Abstract

The increase in the sophistication of human interaction over the internet requires more adaptable and intelligent systems. This work investigates the effectiveness of AI technologies in improving human-web interaction in areas such as personalization, responsiveness, and even the level of access given to users. The research adopts a mixed approach of case study, performative modeling, and summative usability evaluation to assess the effectiveness of AI with chatbots, recommendation systems, and adaptive user interfaces. Results indicate that the use of AI significantly enhances user satisfaction, engagement, and efficiency with respect to task completion. This paper is unique in its application-centric evaluation of AI systems and the integration framework designed for AI’s use in online systems. It arms users with a better understanding of the role of AI in human-centric designs while providing insights for further development aimed at enhancing digital interactions.
