Review Policy

The International Academic Journal of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management (IAJOBHRM) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic rigor and integrity through a fair, transparent, and constructive peer-review process. The journal employs a double-blind peer-review system, where both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other to ensure impartiality and objectivity.

1. Type of Review

Double-Blind Peer Review: Both the reviewers and the authors are unaware of each other's identities throughout the review process. This helps ensure that evaluation is based solely on the quality and content of the manuscript, free from personal bias or conflict of interest.

2. Selection of Reviewers

Reviewers are selected based on their subject expertise, academic credentials, and prior experience in reviewing scholarly work related to organizational behavior and human resource management. Each manuscript is typically evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.

3. Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the manuscript’s originality, methodology, theoretical and practical relevance, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field.

  • Provide constructive, respectful, and detailed feedback to help authors improve their work.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript and all associated correspondence.

  • Disclose any potential conflict of interest and recuse themselves from the review if a conflict exists.

  • Submit reviews within the agreed timeline to support a timely editorial decision.

4. Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions:

  • Accept: The manuscript is accepted for publication with or without minor revisions.

  • Revise and Resubmit: The manuscript requires substantial revisions before it can be reconsidered.

  • Reject: The manuscript does not meet the journal’s standards or is not suitable for publication in its current form.
Authors are informed of the editorial decision along with anonymized reviewer comments.

5. Revision Process

If revisions are requested, authors must address all reviewer comments carefully and submit a revised manuscript along with a point-by-point response to each comment. The revised manuscript may be returned to the original reviewers for re-evaluation, depending on the extent of the changes.

6. Review Timeline

IAJOBHRM aims to provide authors with a decision within 4 to 6 weeks from the date of submission. Timeliness is a key component, and the editorial team ensures that the review process is as efficient as possible without compromising on quality.

7. Ethical Oversight

The journal takes all allegations of ethical misconduct seriously. Reviewers are encouraged to report any signs of plagiarism, data falsification, or unethical research practices. In cases of misconduct, the editorial team follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines to investigate and take appropriate actions.

8. Appeals

Authors who disagree with a decision may file an appeal by providing a detailed justification. Appeals are reviewed by the editorial board, and an independent review may be conducted if necessary.

IAJOBHRM is committed to ensuring a robust, ethical, and high-quality review process that fosters scholarly excellence and advances the field of organizational behavior and human resource management.
